For our international readers, Monday was the Thanksgiving holiday in Canada where its traditional to serve turkey for dinner. Its pretty much a harvest festival, but a number of explorers landed in Canada in the fall after long trips across the ocean from Europe. So there are a few things to celebrate.
I’m thankful I have a fridge with leftovers that I can enjoy this week!
Especially since I will be going out to vote for a new leader for our country after work tonight!
Back from the hot and rainy south!
We’ll see if it has inspired me.

Just a little note from the site admin to say welcome back to school!
Since the idea behind bento is school box lunches, this seems like a valid thing to acknowledge.
Well, 2 small children, a new house, and super busy at work is a formula for no spare time. This inspired me to try out the pre-cooked and pre-sliced chicken from Costco.
Just got it today. Its just chilled, so we can divide it up into meal sized containers and freeze it at home which is good. It should speed up meal prep a lot. It might even give me time to get back to bento!
Keep an eye open for this new ingredient in upcoming bento.
This past weekend you may have missed us. This site, and many others hosted at the same location, went down due to an emergency with the hosting servers.
