Big Shiny Bento

I ordered some really cool cookbooks on Amazon a while ago, and apparently I ‘have unique taste. So much so, we can’t get your books!’ Hmm… these were regional cooking style books on Chinese cooking, and a really good sounding hardcover book on bento.

I’m sad now. But then I’m so busy these days that I likely wouldn’t have the time to try many out right now.

Has anyone else had problems like this before? My friends have never heard of an email like I quoted and laughed at me.

Its been a while so I thought I’d post.

Between being sick at home (whole family most of the time), having an unexpected house guest for 6 weeks, having double deadlines at work, having a wife in her 3rd trimester, and buying a house (yay! the 3 year search is over!) I have let me bento experience lapse.

Hopefully, April will be the time for me to get back into things. I’m always inspired by spring to do creative things so it should be some colorful lunches coming soon!
